This pretty apartment is close to all the amenities of a typical Spanish village, but within easy reach of many small (Almoradi, Orihuela, Los Montesinos, Callosa) and larger towns with restaurants, aqua parks, shops etc. (Torrevieja, Guardamar, Alicante, Elche)
Apartment has 2 bedrooms, bathroom, lounge/diner, kitchen, utility room and large veranda. It is easily accessible from both Alicante and Murcia airports via the AP7 motorway – about 30 minutes drive.

Algorfa is a 10 minute drive to the nearest beach at Guardamar, but many other beautiful sandy beaches running from Torrevieja in the south along the coast to Santa Pola in the north are all within easy reach. Especially recommended is La Marina just north of Guardamar which has a beautiful beach set among sand dunes and pine trees, and also the fishing port of Santa Pola where you can take a boat ride to the fascinating island of Tabarca just off the coast.

La Finca golf course is 1 mile away with a beautiful clubhouse boasting a superb restaurant. There are plans to develop this into a 54 hole complex with a huge new clubhouse already being built. This is a long open course mooted to be a future Spanish open and Ryder cup venue situated in a fast developing, up-and-coming area.
La Marquesa is only 10 minutes away near Rojales, set in a picturesque valley overlooked in places by beautiful villas.

The complex of VillaMartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor is only a 30 minute drive to the south. Villamartin is probably the best known of these courses where Jose-Maria Olajabel holds the course record. The club house at Campoamor offers stunning views over the valley and part of the course, whilst Las Ramblas offers a real challenge for all standards of player. It’s an outstanding, undulating, course in dramatic and contrasting landscape with excellent views.
The famous La Manga sporting complex which includes 3 golf courses is only a 50 minute drive away.

All these courses are par 72 and you would need to take your handicap certificate.

Algorfa can be easily reached from either Alicante (north) or Murcia (south) airports. Using the A37 motorway from either direction the journey is only 30 minutes.
Car hire is definitely recommended and can be arranged for you if necessary.

Algorfa is a traditional small Spanish town – the centre being only a few minutes walk from the apartment. Here you will find grocery shops, banks, cafes, bars, a delicatessen, pet shop, gift shops, chemist, electrical stores, hardware stores, furniture store, garden centres, tobacconist etc.
Market day is Wednesday. On Thursday evenings there is a film showing in the square – always a sociable occasion!

Orihuela is about 10 minutes drive away with a large market on Tuesdays. Benijofar and Benimar are only a 5 minute drive away and have many restaurants, shops and nightlife. Almoradi is the nearest large town, and Los Montesinos and Guardamar are not far. All offer a large selection of shops and restaurants. (There is a huge Carrefour Supermarket on the road into Torrevieja). Torrevieja is the nearest large town with an aqua park, Aquopolis, and a huge market on Fridays. Benidorm in the north of the area, offers the famous Terra Mitica theme park, Aqualandia, said to be the largest water park in Europe, the Mediterranean, a kids funfair and Mundomar a sea world park.
Guardamar, apart from lovely beaches offers a sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, diving and canoeing.

Prices are per apartment (not per person) for 1 week
Discounts are available for long term lets
Cleaning and laundry is extra – payable on arrival (£35 or 51 euros)
Generally changeover day is Saturday, but we could be flexible.

Cleaning and laundry of bed linen is done weekly.
Hand towels are provided in kitchen and bathroom
Customers are asked to provide their own towels for personal and beach use.
