Description:
Mil Palmeras has its own small market late every Tuesday afternoon, in the square. During the high season there are market stalls down near the beach until late every night.

Guadamar market (Sunday's) on the way to Alicante is quite a drive, but good. It is very popular and we suggest you make an early start for this one.

Torrevieja (Friday's) Plan to be in town before 8am, or you will never park. This market goes on and on through the streets.

Shopping for food, there are a couple of local supermarkets within walking distance, or a lager one in Torre de la Horadada. There are also banks (which take visa and link) chemist Doctor, taxi rank and bike hire.

Eating out Mil Palmeras has a good choice of reasonable priced restaurants, look out for the Menu Dl Dias (a set meal of the day) for good value, all within walking distance. There are also beach bars, which serve hot, and cold drinks and food, they have umbrellas over the tables so you can eat in the shade.

Our beach is very clean, soft white sand. There are foot showers at each set of steps, and is a four minute stroll from home. We do have beach towels and beach chairs, and for the traditionalists, buckets and spades.

If you wish to avoid night life, eat before 10pm, after that the place starts to get busy, there are a couple of Karaoke bars and a couple of nightclubs.

Accommodation:
The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and fitted wardrobes, the second has twin beds again with wardrobes and drawer space.

Large ceiling fans are situated in al the rooms.

The top patio area has a table and chairs for eating al fresco.

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge freezer, gas hob, small electric oven, microwave and toaster.

The utility room houses the automatic washing machine and gas boiler, steam iron and ironing board.

There is a washing line outside and back window and pegs are supplied also. There is also a clothes airier.

The bathroom has a shower fitment over the bath, toilet and wash hand basin.

There is plenty of bedding provided. Each bedroom has  spare sheets. There are also feather quilts should you need them. Hairdryers can be found in the wardrobe in the single bedroom. Please remember to bring your adaptor plugs.

We do ask you to use the towels in the bathroom for inside the apartment. Beach towels are also provided.

In the apartment there is a TV, DVD and CD player as et we only have Spanish channels in the TV. Warning, please be aware that Spanish TV is much more liberal than our own, late at night at night there are explicit porn channels. We do have a few DVD's for you to watch, but you may wish to take some of your own. There is a wide choice of CD's.

The beach is only a very short walk away, if you don't want to hire beds, we have some short legged beach chairs in the bottom outside cupboard.

For those who may want a change from the beach there is a pool and restaurant complex a few minutes walk away. It serves refreshments all day long and has facilities for children. There is a payment of a few Euros per day. They also provide entertainment in the evenings.

Special Points:
For more than 4 people there is an apartment that can be rented. A reduction if the two apartments are booked together.

Please note:
All rubbish is to be taken to one of the large green wheelie bins, there are several within a minute or so walk.

If the gas bottle runs out the urbanization office keeps a supply the office is situated near the Farmacia.

Booking Information:
£50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking plus a returnable deposit of £100 to cover breakages/damages. The balance is required 21 days before commencement of your holiday.

All prices include heating and electricity.

We can arrange airport transfers from Alicante and Murcia if required. This will cost 45 Euros from Alicante and 25 Euros from Murcia to be paid in cash to the driver.

Cleaning can also be arranged this again is 40 Euros paid in cash on departure. If you require a welcome pack this can be arranged (fresh milk, bread etc)
