Description:
Playa Flamenca,
a very popular, private development is situated on the
Orihuela Costa about 10 minutes drive south of Torrevieja
between Punta Prima and La Zenia. The apartment is just a
few minutes drive from the N332 coastal road offering easy
access to the motorway via the new link road and to both
Alicante and St. Javier [Murcia] airports. Murcia is about
25 minutes and Alicante about 45 minutes.
The
property itself is within easy walking distance of numerous
shops, bars and restaurants that cater for all tastes.
The
apartment, on the top floor of a three-storey building has
two bedrooms.
There are
5 beautiful beaches within easy walking distance or 5
minutes in the car.
The
nearest large supermarket, Mercadona is just a short walk
away.
There are
2 commercial centres Via Park I and II and Playa Flamenca
both within 5/10 minutes walk offering a wide range of bars
and restaurants including Spanish, Chinese, Italian,
Tex-Mex, Irish and English bars.
A Spanish
market is held every Saturday just around the corner a must
for bargain hunters.
Villamartin Plaza is another commercial centre just a little
further away which also has a wide range of international
cuisine.
Torrevieja itself has a large market and there is also a craft
market on the seafront each day. It has a very cosmopolitan
feel with many good inexpensive restaurants and bars to
choose from and is well worth a daytime or evening visit.
Accommodation:
Our apartment has 2 bedrooms each with twin beds, large fitted
wardrobes, chest of drawers, mirrors and ceiling fans. A
hairdryer is also provided.
The master bedroom has patio doors leading onto a south-facing
double terrace, which has great, unrestricted views of the
area and to the sea, great for sunbathing and just right for
sitting with a glass of wine and watching the sunset.
The large lounge dining room is very comfortably furnished and
includes a large sofa bed, 2 seater sofa, and coffee tables.
There is a mini Hi-Fi system with a good selection of CD's
and Satellite TV offering English channels. Another patio
door leads onto the terrace where there is ample room for
sunbathing and al fresco dining.
Our large American style kitchen is fully equipped with oven,
hob, fridge freezer, microwave etc. There is a washing
machine, iron and ironing board, clothes drier, Hoover etc.
in the separate utility room.
We have a lovely resident’s only communal swimming pool.
There are
5 beautiful, Blue Flag, safe, sandy beaches within easy
walking distance or just a few minutes by car. Three superb
local golf courses including Villamartin are also very close
by for those wanting a golfing holiday or just fancy a
change from the beach Mercadona supermarket is just a short
walk away which also hosts a small shopping mall with a
coffee and Tapas bar. On the main road close to Mercadona
you’ll find the Town Hall where there is a tourist
information office with a taxi rank and bus stop nearby.
There are
2 commercial centres Via Park1 & 2 and Flamenca Beach
offering an extensive range of bars and restaurants that
cater for all tastes, lunchtimes and evenings, as well as
other superb local ones, all within 5/10 minutes walk away.
Another new commercial centre has recently been completed
adjacent to Flamenca Beach with banks and a Supercor
supermarket. More excellent bars, restaurants and beaches
are nearby at Punta Prima and La Zenia. Torrevieja itself is
a great place to visit with its cosmopolitan feel, bars,
restaurants, boutiques, harbour and craft market along the
seafront every afternoon and evening. It also has its own
sandy beaches and unique waterfront.
Playa
Flamenca also boasts a brilliant, Spanish market, the second
largest in the area held every Saturday just around the
corner from the apartment, excellent for fruit and
vegetables or for those last minute gifts and souvenirs and
a must for bargain hunters.
This is a
very historic area of Spain and there are many places to
visit just a short car journey away. We thoroughly recommend
a visit to Elche with its amazing Palm-Grove[best views from
the top of St Mary’s Basilica if you don’t mind heights] and
Palm Museum, Orihuela with its musical fountains , Cartagena
and Murcia with its beautiful cathedral and backstreet
cafes.
There is something for everyone here that caters for many
tastes both old and young. We know you won’t be
disappointed.

Booking
Information:
A £50
deposit will secure booking with final payment, in pound
sterling or Euros, to be paid to our agents on arrival at the
apartment.
The
apartment is cleaned before each arrival and on departure.
Our
management team can provide a welcome pack upon request at
€15 payable on arrival.
A £100
security deposit is required and returned, subject to no
excess damage/breakages at the end of your stay.
Airport
transfers can be provided from Alicante or Murcia.
Discounts
available for more than 2 weeks.
A
supplement of £30 will apply for Easter weeks.
The
apartment sleeps up to 6 persons in comfort.
All
bedding and bath towels provided.
